摘要

Addition of fibers is effective for enhancing the dispersibility of cracks and controlling the crack width, thereby improving the overall deformation capacity and shear strength of structures. Two kinds of experiments are conducted with the intention of improvement on structural performance of SFRCs. One is an experiment aimed at increasing the fire resistance of concrete by the addition of fibers. The other is an experiment to improve the deformation capacity of piers using concrete containing fibers. Results of these tests are presented.
