摘要

Frequency of use of Concentrated Liquid Stabilizers (CLS) to improve stability of aggregate, soil and recycled pavement materials in constructing roadbeds, subgrades and surface courses for transportation related structures is increasing. Concentrated Liquid Stabilizers are formulated specifically for modification, improvement and stabilization of aggregate and soil materials and require dilution in a water solution before application to allow for adequate dispersion. Applied costs of treatment are generally much less than conventional chemical stabilization treatment using calcium-based products such as cement and lime, because application is much simpler and product and transportation costs are less. The EMC SQUARED System is a CLS product technology which has proven effective in a wide variety of field applications and laboratory testing programs. Representative case studies of project and laboratory research programs document the benefits of appropriate applications of concentrated liquid stabilizer technology.
