JSC “VNIIEM” Corporation jointly with the cooperation (IAG, RSRIRC, NIRFI, IKI RAS) starts the R&D project “Ionosonde-TGK” onboard the Russian segment of the International Space Station and the unmanned transport cargo “Progress” planned for 2021. With the help of new developed topside sounder “LAERT-M” the experiments on complex sounding of the ionosphere, including vertical sounding, forward and reverse trans-ionospheric sounding, bistatic sounding between TGK and the ISS, global monitoring of EM emissions in the frequency range 0.1–20 MHz should be provided.
