摘要

Along with enhancement on precision for small accelerometer and gyroscope, small Inertial Measurement Unit (IMU) is now applied for military and civil field. Small IMU/GPS integrated navigation system has advantage on small volume, cheap cost, high resolution, good reliability instead of current navigation system for vehicle. The paper describes current level of small IMU/GPS integrated navigation system based on low cost piezoelectric gyroscopes and quartz accelerometers for vehicle, buildup and algorithm diagram of the integrated navigation, DSP application for the integrated system and the method of dynamic base zero correction improves precision and stability.
