摘要

There analyzed conditions of field reliability of ring helium-neon lasers used in strapdown inertial navigation systems. There have been investigated electric breakdown of the gas and factors affecting the time delay in discharge ignition. There identified the role of additional electrodes in the process of gas discharge formation. There have been calculated the borders of stable bilateral DC gas discharge in the parameter space of the ring laser and its electric circuit. There has been created software used in the design of the ring lasers.
