摘要

The report contains the results of research into the reliability of ring helium-neon lasers. There found informative parameters of the gas discharge in the ring laser that makes it possible to determine the operational capability of the ring laser in the menial navigation system. There approved a new method of forecasting the individual lifetime of ring lasers. There demonstrated the role of plasma chemical reactions in the appearance of the contamination film on the surface of the cathode oxide coating. There has been observed the influence of the film on the field reliability of the laser gyro. There found a measuring procedure the result of which indicates the existence of a film.
