摘要

y-CyD is a bioadaptable drug carrier, improving the physicochemical properties (dissolution or release rate, stability, etc.) of poorly water-soluble drug molecules. Combined use of y-CyD and functional ingredients can serve as potent drug carriers, modifying ability to increase the drug absorption, the ability to control the rate and time profiles of drug release, and to deliver the drug to the targeted site. Multi-functional characteristic of HP-P-CyD is useful to design a C60 nano-medicine as a stable aqueous suspension. Amphiphatic HB-β-CyD has considerable potential to modify the solid state properties of drug molecules. Owing to the increasingly globalized nature of CyD related-science and nano-technology, future should see a number of CyD-based pharmaceutical products in the worldwide market.
