In the paper, the problem of influence of skeleton pore structure and viscous interaction force on finite-amplitude wave propagation in a barotropic fluid flowing through porous rigid solid is analyzed. Considerations are based on the nonlinear theory of fluid-saturated porous medium in which the skeleton pore structure is characterized by two parameters. The influence of pore structure on waves in fluid filling pores is performed by analysis of simple wave propagation and influence of viscous interaction force between fluid and skeleton is discussed considering the evolution of fluid mass density profile at the front of wave and attenuation of small amplitude waves superposed on a stationary fluid flow.
