摘要

Simultaneous transport of moisture and solutes in porous media is governed by diffusion and convection of the solute, filtration of the solution, and vapor diffusion. Coupling is due to the effect of high solute concentrations on vapor pressure. Experiments of sodium chloride absorption and redistribution in cement slabs are described and interpreted by means of a simplified model of coupled transport.
