摘要

Jilin Province is located in the central part of Northeast China, in the winter. There are plentyrnof germplasm resources of hardy fruit trees. Studies on the investigation, collection, preservation,rncharacteristic identification and utilization of germplasm resources of hardy fruit trees have beenrncarried out in the Pomology Institute of Jilin Province Academy of Agricultural Sciences for 50 years.rnThe wild fruit trees germplasm resources belong to 11 families, 23 genera, 2 subgenuses, 45 speciesrnand 3 varieties .The results of investigation and utilization of wild fruit trees germplasm resourcesrnwith cold resistance for more than 50 years are reported in this paper. Important traits, ecologicalrndistribution and utilization of germplasm resources of hardy fruit trees were presented in this paper.rnBased on investigation of problems in the utilization and studies of germplasm resources of hardyrnfruit trees in Jilin Province, several suggestions were made.
