摘要

Study of formation peculiarities of soil algae groups (Algosinusiae) in protected forest territories is an important method in stationary biogeocenological research. Groups of soil algae can serve as indicators of soil pollution with pesticides, heavy metals, high rates of mineral fertilizers etc. Composition of soil algae groups cannot always be the best ecological unit for evaluation of biodiversity of the ecological system, its status and stability. Clear morphological and size differences of individuals are quite suitable for such purposes. Differences in sizes and morphology are indicative of differences of ecological niches (Odum, 1986). Indices of individual biodiversity based on size morphological differences can characterize hardiness of associations, stability of habitats, impact intensity of different anthropogenic factors.
