摘要

The important status and function of entrepreneurship in national and local economy has been more and more realized all across the globe. Almost local governments tried their best to afford series of conveniences in the conditions of society, economy, finance and technology to accelerate the development of start-up enterprises. Entrepreneurship can ease local employment pressure and solve employment problems. Entrepreneurship is significant on Wuhan economic development, but financing difficulty is a main barrier to restrict its development. Wuhan start-up businesses face of capital financing and debt capital financing gaps in general, and special to face discrimination in the ownership, corporate management structure and social credit. The financing bottleneck limited development of start-up enterprises in a vital transition period. Entrepreneurship is thirsting for the financing support of goverrment. This paper reviews and assesses Wuhan city of financing for entrepreneurs. A comparison of financial support for entrepreneurship gives an insight into the distance separating Wuhan from the developed cities. From the viewpoint of Wuhan financial support sector this distance negatively affect the operational conditions of entrepreneurship. These are issues of fundamental importance for Wuhan start-up enterprises influencing their competitiveness both in domestic and foreign markets. Therefore, it is necessary to take feasible measures to improve entrepreneurship finaning environment and promote the competitiveness of start-up enterprises in Wuhan.
