It is clear to see that logical gate can be implemented by the plasmodium under a natural condition (Experiment A) and that the Physarum gate can carry robustness against the change of environment through reorganization of behavioral network (Experiment B). The second issue is relevant for the property of livings. Living systems are strongly coupled with their own environments. That is why the change of environments can affect not only their dynamics but also organization. A change of environment can trigger a drastic change of dynamics and organization, and as a result a system is robustly persisted. Robust AND-gate results from such a property, and that shows the possibility of implementation of "emergent computing". It also suggests difference between stability and robustness.
