摘要

We have shown that statistical asymmetry in the fluctuation is the source of persistent current. When these asymmetries are polarized, the rate of current flow or the rate of directed motion could be increased or decreased accordingly. On the other hand, statistically symmetric chaos is forund to induce barrier crossing that approaches the classical Kramers escape rate in the strong friction regime, as for the second-order Tchebyschev map when τ → 0.
