摘要

To calculate backfill grouting rate in shield tunneling precisely, thickness and volume distribution of tail void should be investigated firstly. Based on geometric conditions and the characteristics of in-situ data concerning with tail void, the precise calculation method of tail void distribution was developed. This method considers actual operation of copy cutter and deviation from cutter face center to segment center. Furthermore, its performance was validated by applying it to a shield tunneling site. As a result, the followings were made clear: (1) even if copy cutter ranges are same, over cutting area and tail void distribution also depend on the rotation direction and speed of cutter face; (2) tail void distribution can be calculated by considering the geometric relation between excavation area and segment position; (3) grouting rate becomes constant regardless of tunnel alignment by using the proposed calculation method.
