Effective elastic moduli of a 2-D anisotropic solid with elliptical holes and cracks having an arbitrary (non-random) orientational distribution are given in closed form. Proper tensorial parameters of defect density (defendent on ellipses' eccentricity and thier orientations relative to the matrix anisotropy axes) are identified. This allows one to establish the overall elastic anisotropy. The results for mixtures of holes and cracks are presented.
