Computer Simulation of Squirrel-cage Induction Motor Rotor Bar Breaking

摘要

This paper is designed to find out the corresponding relation between faults of rotor's bar and the feature of stator's electric current. Using multi-loop theory, we have set up three-phase induction motor's mathematical model and programmed computer simulation. We have also researched the simulation of various kinds of broken rotor-bar and worked out feature signals of stator's electric current, which provide basis for determining rotor's faults of the squirrel-cage induction motor on line. The simulation result has been proved right by experiments on a prototype.
