The measurement analyst has a big job in today's gas industry. This person is required to possess the ability to interpret measurement data, in all it's forms, and ask pertinent questions in order to generate an accurate volume. He or she must be aware of all the factors affecting measurement and be able to quickly spot these situations. More than ever, analysts are asked for information to help field personnel do their job. They also serve as a liaison between the field and the customer and business units of an organization to deal with issues such as Unaccounted For. The data generated in Gas Measurement is heavily used in all parts of the organization. Its accuracy is imperative to the company and it's ability to be successful in today's competitive environment.
