The Expeditionary Force Vehicle (EFV) Drive Train Prognostic System (DTPS) program (awarded to Honeywell DSES - Teterboro by General Dynamics Amphibious Marine Systems) encompasses an effort to provide a strap-on diagnostic/prognostic proof of concept solution. The project scope includes the design, development, and demonstration of the DTPS on the EFV. It is expected that the program will lead to the production of some 1013+ DTPS systems for subsequent EFV's as they roll out of production. Production systems will evolve from a strap-on solution to an integrated solution. Both the hardware and software architecture will be discussed.
