摘要

A numerical three-dimensional (3D) rough multilayered contact model is developed to contact stresses combinations of normal loads and friction force in both dry and wet conditions. Friction and wear trends studies based on the contact analysis are performed. Optimum design parameters including materials with desired mechanical properties, layer thicknesses and surface roughness are identified.
