Recent developments indicate that High Power Li Ion Technology will provide opportunities for smaller lighter and less costly DE systems. As even more applications are identified and new approaches and capabilities are developed more effective systems will be fielded. We wish to thank DARPA, the US Army and the USAF for their support to continue the development of an enabling technology, in particular Dr Marilyn Freeman (now at SAALT), Hardev Singh (now at Picatinny) and Mr. Steve Vukson at WPAFB.
