The EI Furrial field is one of the major field assets of Venezuela and is operated by PDVSA (Petroleos de Venezuela,S.A) Its current production fo over 400,000 BOPD makes it a giant oil field.Development of the field,which has an average reservoir depth of apporximately 15000 feet,is in its final stages deue to impleentation of high pressure ga sinjection.PAVSA has consistentily followed a forward plannign approach related to reservoir manageemnt.
