3-D Seismic has had a majro impact on the performance of E&P operaitons in Amoco.In the last four years.,3-D has heloed improve reserves replacement,imporved exploration finding rates and ovlumes,posiktively affected field reserves revisions.THis paper discusses the peoformance imporvements that 3-D has brought to the ocmpany and suggests ways for measuring the impact of emerging technologies.
