摘要

The paper presents our experience with several time stepping algorithms for solving the equations of motion of the rigid body rotational dynamics. The algorithms of Simo & Vu-Quoc (1988) and Simo & Wong (1991) are based on the classical Newmark algorithm, suitably modified to encompass rotational degrees of freedom. Such algorithms have many practical applications, and are of great value in preliminary studies of more complicated problems with rotational dofs, such as e.g. dynamics of shells.
