AstrOmatic software packages have been developed through the years for processing and analysing large quantities of astronomical imaging data in a consistent and fully automated way. I discuss the performance of the latest generation of AstrOmatic software from the angle of wide-field stellar studies, and present ongoing development efforts to overcome some limitations of the current algorithms.
