At the present point in time work is continuing on creating the phase 3 functionalities, making it in many ways the most exciting stage of all, the culmination of all that has gone before. KIM is not a static system but an evolving community of expertise which will ultimately function as a kind of central nervous system with its sensors reaching out to all areas of the group, both geographically and in terms of activities. It is certainly a brain as a repository of knowledge, but at the same time the eyes and ears of the organisation, continually picking up new information, sometimes factual and sometimes intuitive, which is then assimilated by the system so that new connections can be made and innovative responses generated. When put to optimal effect, it has the potential to function as the collective consciousness of the RT Group.
