摘要

The present paper highlights results from the priority program "Cellular Metals" of the Deutsche For-schungsgemeinschaft (DFG SPP 1075). It describes the development, boundary conditions and the solution of a Finite-Element-Model for examination of sintered hollow-sphere structures. Because of symmetry conditions, a model of two 1/8-globes can be used. A complicated task is the definition of the essential couple and boundary conditions which are required to simulate the behaviour of full-globes in such a reduced model. The upper sphere segment is loaded in horizontal and vertical directions via a pretended deformation. The obtained results are documented.
