According to the problem that perpendicular impact on the ground stationary target was required for some guided weapons, the adaptive proportional guidance law with terminal angular constraint was derived, which didn't need range information. On analyzing the longitudinal plane motion equation and lateral plane motion equation in guided phase, the guidance logic for perpendicular impact task was devised. And for the sake of robustness enhancement of the guidance law, an adaptive guidance parameter updating method is presented. Simulation results show that compared with the optimal guidance law, the guidance precision of the adaptive proportional guidance law was less affected by initial flight path angle, control system delay and command updating frequency, but was more affected by signal measurement with jam.
