The mechanism of pressure drop along the horizontal well andrnits dependence on hydrodynamic and geometrical parametersrnof the reservoir and the well is in the focus of our work. Arnmodel of single-phase coupled fluid flow in porous media andrnin a horizontal well is proposed. For solving the problem arnhybrid analyticalumerical methods is tested. The developedrnmethod can be applied to analytical estimation of the influencernof the various parameters (geometry of the reservoir (shapernfactor), length, and radius of the well, and also well/reservoirrnconductivity) on Production Index.rnIn our work we consider the whole area of drainage: thernwellbore itself, bottomhole zone of the reservoir and thernreservoir periphery as three adjoint media with differentrnconductivity. For gluing different type of fluid flows withrndifferent geometry special non-overlapping domainrndecomposition method is developed.rnThis method allows to reduce complicated fluid flow in 3-Drnmedia to a sequence of “simple” flows in homogenous mediarnwith standard shape (such as sphere, cylinder or annularrncylinder).
