The Tencel fiber is first manufactured by the Courtaulds Company. The outstanding natures of the fiber, such as the environmental protecting character, the abundant source of raw material, the good performance and so on, have shown the great future of this " green" fiber. And first of all, the fibrillation phenomenon in hygrometric state make the Tencel fiber shows perfect beatability and wet processing nature, both of which make it possible to make specialty paper with it. In this paper, some experiments of manufacturing paper with Tencel fiber paper pulp have been done under different freeness conditions, and the performances of the paper are tested and analyzed.
