摘要

A newly constructed device for microwave treatment of textile materials has been tested on textile materials treated with different textile finishes. This planar microwave apparatus is so fare developed as laboratory device and effectively simulates industrial one. For the first time simultaneous drying and curing processes have been conducted with electromagnetic waves at constructed microwave device. With the implementation of microwave technology in the field of oil- and water-repellency equally good effects have been observed as with the conventional curing at tenter frame. All presented results offer the possibility of using the proposed model for different finishing processes, such as Durable Press (DP) finishing, oil- and water- repellency, flameretardant (FR) finishing or combined finishes.
