摘要

The new technology of manufacturing 3D shell nonwoven products is introduced. The effects of key bonding parameters on the product properties are reported. These parameters include bonding temperature, dwell time, air velocity or negative pressure, as well as the fabric area density. The properties of the product include tensile and tearing properties, and air permeability. The bonding temperature is found to have the greatest effect on the fabric properties. The investigation is important to the optimisation of the process in order to improve production efficiency and product properties.
