摘要

Knowledge management is a hot research and practice field at present, but a lot of questions exist. Most of these questions are caused by inadequate understandings of the signs' and semiotic nature. This study has been analyzed several important problems in knowledge management in terms of semiotics including analyzing relationship between knowledge and symbol, knowledge classification and semiotics, knowledge management and semiotics. This study addressed that the process of making tacit knowledge explicit is a semiosis, two kinds of semiotic meanings of knowledge management and the semiotic framework of knowledge management, which is very valuable to understanding and guiding knowledge management practice. Nevertheless, this study is just the beginning of the combination of semiotics and knowledge management, so a lot of questions need further researches and broad attentions are expected to this study as an introduction to semiotics in knowledge management.
