Corporate Governance, IT Governance and Risk Management are arguably the most frequently discussed topics in the corporate world today. While there is a heightened interest and appreciation of each of these disciplines in the post-Enron and post dotcom era, there is relatively less focus on treating these related disciplines in an integrated manner. The objective of this paper is to propose a direct link between eBusiness risk management and IT Governance. Throughout this paper, we will consciously make a connection between IT Governance as a key contributor to Corporate Governance and the health of an organization. We will use examples drawn from common eBusiness activities. Building IT Governance as an Integral Component of the Corporate Governance Framework.
