According to the Electricity Enterprises Act, The Chief of Ministry Knowledge Economy has to release “the Basic Plan for long term Electricity supply u00026; demand” biannually in order to stabilize Korea electric power system. The Basic Plan for long term Electricity supply u00026; demand is composed of government power policy, long-term power demand forecast, power plant expansion plan and so on. The planning period is 15 years considering nuclear power plant construction period. It was released on 29, DEC. 2008.
