LTRC has a developed implementation process through its many years of serving LADOTD. Some of the lessons learned include:rn1.Understand that it’s easy to identify research problem statements but not always easy to implement results. 2.Engage practitioners (technical experts) for implementation expertise. 3.Develop implementation strategy early: 3.1Formalize an implementation strategy, 3.2Identify obstacles, and 3.3Provide implementation assistance.4.Start early-it is difficult to go back and determine real data to quantify benefit.rn5.Market projects with quantifiable implementation benefits:rn5.1 Use either quantitative or qualitative assessments orrn5.2 Provide implementation analysis projections.
