Estimates of the uncertainties attached to full-scale predictions of submarine resitnace and propulsion based on standard submarine two-tank model tests are obtained by means of a global uncertainty analysis. The analysis takes into account all the component uncertainties, including the uncertainties associated with the prediction procedure and the measurements performed both at model scale and at full scale, which influence the overal uncertainty of full-scale predictions.
