摘要

With the approach of Knowledge Economy and the development of modern science and technology, Technology innovation, the source of human fortune, works as the powerful engine to ensure the sustainable quick and steady development of a nation's economy. Small and medium sized enterprises (SME), the most active and stirring factor, play an important role in boasting economy to accelerate high-tech and to push forward the technology innovation. At the same time, small and medium sized enterprises as the first link to promote high-tech play an important role in the process of technology innovation. However, as a developing country, China lags far behind in the level and competence in technology innovation by SME and there still exist many obstacles on their way of technology innovation. So it has been a focus for both theoreticians and enterprisers to enhance their technology innovation capability and to optimize their external environment. Presented in this article are the obstacles to block the technology innovation of SME and the countermeasures to enhance their technology innovation ability and to improve the quality of their innovation environment.
