摘要

A prototype of solar-powered, solid adsorption , ice maker and water heater hybrid system is proposed in view of energy cascade utilization. It can be used as a single water heater or an ice maker and water heater hybrid system respectively according to incident solar radiation intensity. Its major originality lies in adsorption pair can be heated or cooled from exterior and interior of adsorbent bed via heat pipe and flat plate dual collector. A numerical model is developed to predict the performances of the hybrid system. Simulation results show that the hybrid system can be used as an ice maker and a water heater effectively when incident solar radiation intensity is more than 12MJ/(m~2.d). It still could be used as a single water heater under the condition of 10 - 12MJ/m~2. day solar radiation. In districts with abundant solar energy resources, the hybrid system can run effectively in most of days in a year.
