摘要

The two popular calculation methods for soil nail forces for retaining and protection of deep pit is reviewed in this paper, the defect of the two calculation methods is pointed out. Based on staged construction and structure stiffness of soil nail, the new calculation method for soil nail forces for retaining and protection of deep pit is put forward, the reasonableness of the new calculation method is verified through a project case, the result indicated the new calculation method is according with the project case.
