摘要

The wavelength routing technology used to computer interconnection network is introduced in this paper. By analyzing the relation between wavelength and networks routing, we describe a concept of wavelength used as "network P address", and propose a wavelength routing topology to extend the scale and realize scalability of networks. Moreover, as an experiment, a twin-wavelength ring network that is being developed in our laboratory to implement and test the function of wavelength routing is presented. And the main units of the twin-wavelength ring network are presented also.
