After ensuring the effectiveness of the fuel system Mod in preventing engine cut problem, the Mod has been accepted for fleet compliance. It may be noted that the two NRVs involved in this Mod had initial problems and they have been redesigned and fully qualification tested before fleet compliance approval. Both structural modifications in cockpit area and fuel system modifications have significantly increased the safety as well as performance of the aircraft.
