摘要

现代旅游业为满足旅游者日益增长的物质和文化的需求应运而生,并且得到迅猛发展。公示语的应用范围非常广泛,旅游者所到之处都可以见到公示语。本文作者在前人研究的基础上,主要选择旅游景点公示语为研究对象,深入探讨了中国旅游景点的公示语翻译错误,这些错误发生的原因,并利用德国功能主义的目的论为指导对旅游景点公示语翻译的问题进行研究。本文首先介绍了研究的意义及背景并对研究的理论基础,德国功能主义的目的论进行的全面的分析。在过去的几年中,许多国内外学者在这领域做了很多研究,特别是对公示语的研究,因为在翻译公示语的过程中,目的和功能是在首要位置的。本文从语言和文化这两个方面对中英文公示语的语言和文化差异进行深入比较研究,并指出了一些著名的中国旅游景点在公示语翻译时出现的问题。在这些翻译问题的基础上,本文提出了一些翻译策略,包括简化策略,重写策略,省略政策等等。本文所提出的这些策略是基于一个标准,以目的论为指导,以翻译目的和译文读者为中心,力求准确地传达原信息同时让群众更好地理解和领会公示语的意思更好的达到为人民服务的目的。
