摘要

该文就计算机辅助语言学习的历史发展以及当前关于计算机在语言教学中的应用实践和研究进行了概述.该文以七个与开发多媒体计算机辅助语言学习相关的关于二语习得理想条件的前提作为其寻找理论依托的出发点.而后综述了使用独立成品软件的语言教学实践以及对此做出的相应的研究.鉴于独立成品软件的局限性,语言教学者诉诸于类似PowerPoint和Authorware一类的多媒体编辑软件.此类软件可以用于整合教材内容,而教师也有更多的自由发挥余地.国际互联网也已经成为当前语言教学和学习的又一个宝贵资源.在这个日新月异的后工业化时代,为顺应语言教学目标的改变,语言教师不能仅仅致力于教给学生语法规则,而是要帮助他们学会参与实际的语言应用.因此,如何利用互联网促进学生的语言学习,同时培养他们将来利用互联网进行独立学习和研究的能力是今天语言教学者面临的另一个挑战.
