The signaling load due to channel state feedback is an important parameter with a large impact in Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiple Access (OFDMA) techniques. Feedback over each one of the subcarriers will induce a non- acceptable signaling overhead in the system .Consequently, some optimization and feedback reduction strategies are required. There are different strategies results in reducing the overhead feedback. In our work we optimize the Best-M strategy. The closed form expression of the data rate is formulated to indicate the impact of the number of users and the choosing number of the best M subcarriers.;The provided service must fulfill the customer's minimum demands. Therefore the Quality of Service (QoS) was also studied. Several indicators for (QoS) are available in the literature, where the Symbol Error Rate (SER) usually takes the place as one of the most important ones due to its significant correlation with the achieved throughput.;Lastly it was shown that the feedback affects the data rate of the system, but also the base station (BS) energy consuming. It is important that for any scheme to be implemented in practical, the energy consumption must be identified and optimized.
