摘要

A small-signal low-frequency model of the boost converter is developed, using state space averaging, to help optimize the control loop design of the converter.; Using state space averaging, the dynamics of the circuit are derived, and the culmination of these derivations is an equivalent circuit valid for small-signal low-frequency variations analysis superimposed upon a dc operating point. Using the circuit analysis program SPICE, the circuit is modeled and used to solve for the transfer functions of interest. In power supplies there are normally three transfer functions and they are the input to output transfer function, duty cycle to output transfer function, as well as the duty cycle to inductor current transfer function.; By shedding light on these transfer functions the guesswork in closing the loop is eliminated and the SPICE model is then built upon to design the control loop that will give the desired response.
