Late Ordovician graptolites have been extracted from calcareous concretions collected from three sections in the Cape Phillips Formation on Cornwallis and Truro Islands. A total of 9 species, including 2 new species, have been identified, described, classified, and phylogenetically interpreted.;Proximal development patterns E, G, and K were recognized among the species and the astogenetic data were used to infer possible evolutionary relationships for the species. Shared proximal development patterns are viewed as an indication of common descent. The proximal development of Paraorthograptus ex gr. P. pacificus, "Orthograptus" fastigatus, Appendispinograptus supernus, Genus A species 2, and Climacograptus sp. is described for the first time.;Amplexograptus latus is conspecific with Amplexograptus inuiti, thus extending the known range for this species. (Abstract shortened by UMI.);The stratigraphic distribution of the species encompasses the fastigatus and pacificus zones. The fastigatus Zone has been correlated to the prominens Zone of Anticosti Island, providing the first direct graptolite correlation of the Late Ordovician fastigatus Zone strata of Arctic Canada to another area within Canada.
