摘要

We have introduced a new cloud file system (NCFS), a scalable and reliable distributed file system. NCFS is DHT based file system that also supports elastic load balancing. We have measured performance of NCFS and compared it central node based file system HDFS and conventional DHT based file system Swift. We have designed and developed simulator to measure the performance of these systems. For fair comparison, we have also modified existing code of these systems and compared performance of NCFS to simulated systems.
