Social science journals illustrate their academic grade via the thoughts they expressed and the im-age they showed. Journal with higher quality should enable readers to enrich their minds while reading books and get something enlightened,highlight the truth and perspective of academic achievements they disseminate, and play the function of "ferryboat" and "drumstick" that can match perfectly,and finally enjoy wide recogni-tion from scholars. in such views,we should improve the grade of journals from the following aspects:firstly, to stress the overall planning,do "what should be done" and leave "what should not be done" through column design,grasp regional academic trend,avoid homogenization to show their feature,trying to realize the harmo-ny and unity of inner quality and outside image;secondly,to introduce various forms such as annual key top-ics,launch special studies to focus specific topics,lead academic exploration to promote subject development and optimize academic resources;thirdly,to participate academic research and exchanges actively,follow na-tional fund project on social science,disseminate up-to-date achievements with strategic,overall,forecasting, applicable characteristics.%社科学刊的学术品位通过它所传播的思想内容以及装帧设计的外在形象体现出来。具有较高品位的社科学刊应使读者开卷有益，读之必有所得；所传播的学术成果富有真知灼见；桴鼓相应，肩负起“渡船”与“鼓槌”的职能；为学者耳熟能详并广泛认同。鉴于此，提升社科学刊的学术品位，学刊编辑应致力于：1.重视总体策划，通过栏目设计“有所为有所不为”，把握地域学脉，避免同质化，彰显个性化，并力求实现内在品质与外在形象和谐统一。2.以推出年度重点选题、开展专题研究等形式进行选题聚焦，引领学术探索，促进学科发展，为优化学术资源提供充分保证。3.踊跃参加学术研讨、学术交流活动，积极跟进国家社科基金项目，适时传播具有战略性、全局性、前瞻性、应用性和探索性的最新学术成果。
