There are three meaning items about the concept of the majesty in the Book of Songs.First, it means etiquette, secondly, it means behavior which matches good etiquette, last, it means virtue.This concept is used to be considered as moral spirit, and it's an important concept in early historical literature, such as bronze inscriptions and the Book of Shang, etc.After the Spring and Autumn Period, the etiquettes of the majesty fixed to ritual system, and had been considered as theoretical core of Confucianism.%《诗经》中"威仪"一词有三个义项:一指礼容,二指符合礼仪节文的言行表现,三指能起表率作用的言行、德行.在《诗经》中,威仪都与德行有关,被认为是道德精神的表现.威仪的这种用法在《尚书》中也存在.金文资料中,威仪用例含义和传世文献中的用法一致,着眼于道德精神层面的内涵,认为威仪是守礼、有德的表现.春秋以后,威仪逐渐固化为礼制,成为儒家学者十分重视的问题.
